Arts and music

Tuesday at four.
Same room, every week.

You set the regular lesson once, and whoever pays knows how many lessons are left. And a single studio hour is booked in the same calendar.

One studio, one day

From the empty hallway in the morning
to the family leaving in the evening.

Every calendar knows how to duplicate a lesson. KLOXA also remembers attendance, changes and who pays - all year long.

Every room has its own hours.
All shown side by side.

A room, a studio, a rehearsal hall or a piano - each has its own days and hours, and all of them appear side by side.

The time between lessons.
It's held, too.

A teacher who is already teaching isn't booked for another lesson at the same hour, and a lesson is booked only with whoever teaches it. The time between lessons is held too, with no figuring it out in your head.

And writes what to practice.

The teacher marks that the student arrived and writes in the lesson what to practice. At the next lesson it's in front of them before the student walks in.

One receipt.

An adult who studies and pays for themselves - it's all on their card. For a child, the parent registers, signs and pays: attendance is recorded on the child and the receipt on the parent, and two siblings never get mixed up.

Set a series, keep creating

The lesson changes.
The sequence stays in order.

  • Choose day, time and teacher

Which days, at what time, in which room and with which teacher - once, and all the lessons are set.

  • See all the dates first

You see all the dates before anything goes into the calendar. Something doesn't fit? You change it once, not every lesson separately.

  • No lesson lands on a holiday by mistake

A lesson that falls on a holiday waits for you to decide what to do with it. It isn't booked without your knowing and doesn't disappear without your knowing.

  • A change applies from here on

Moving a time or canceling changes only what is still ahead of you. Lessons that already happened, with their attendance and payment, stay as they were.

  • See what the business opened for sign-up

The calendar offers times based on the room, the teacher and the lesson length the business defined - and spots a conflict before you book.

  • A single hour, too

A studio hour, a rehearsal or a trial lesson is booked as a single appointment in the same calendar. An hour that's taken isn't offered again.

  • A payment cap

You set how much whoever pays covers. It's written down, and doesn't depend on who remembers.

  • A lesson punch card, for those who sell in advance

A student who bought ten lessons or a customer who bought a package of studio hours? Marking attendance deducts one use from the balance, and you see how much is left and until when.

  • A receipt, not a message with an amount

The receipt goes out at the end of the lesson and appears for whoever pays in the conversation with the business and in KLOXA ONE - while it's still fresh.

  • Details open only for whoever needs them

You decide who sees what. A substitute teacher sees the lesson and what to practice, not the payment details. Sensitive information opens only with approval from the phone.

  • A number of spots that fits the group

You set how many spots there are, and you can change it for a group or a specific session. The group never fills beyond its capacity.

  • An attendee list for every session

You see who's signed up and mark who came, and everything is saved together for that session.

  • Waitlist

A full group? You open a waitlist, instead of a note you have to get back to.

  • Minimum and maximum age, when relevant

For a children's group you set an age range, and anyone who doesn't fit is flagged before saving. For an adult group, you just don't set one.

  • No signed form - no registration

You can require a signed registration form before anyone can join a group.

  • A reminder before the session

The reminder goes out to whoever pays or whoever attends, through the channel you chose.

Calendar, attendance and payment

The student feels remembered.
KLOXA truly remembers.

The lesson, attendance, whoever pays and the receipt - connected, from sign-up to the end of the year.

  • A regular lesson: day, time, room and teacher
  • See all the dates before anything is booked
  • A lesson that falls on a holiday waits for your approval
  • A change to the next lesson doesn't erase lessons that already took place
  • See how many spots are left in the class
  • The student and whoever pays for them - sometimes the same person
  • A payment cap for whoever pays
  • All the lessons that took place, and what progressed in each
  • For whoever bought a punch card - a balance that updates when attendance is marked
  • A place to record an instrument, level or textbook
  • Build the form by dragging from the fields you chose
  • Sign by typing your name, from the phone
  • Nothing to install and no sign-up
  • You can require a signature before anyone can register
  • Exactly what they saw and signed is saved, and the signature is kept locked
  • The receipt goes out to whoever pays, even when they aren't the student
  • The family sees the receipt in the conversation with the business right after payment
  • A price quote for a series of lessons or studio hours before you start
  • A canceled receipt stays with the student and the original payer
  • Lessons, payments and documents close together at the end of the month
  • From sign-up to the end of the year - connected

How do I open a series of twenty lessons?

You choose once: days, time, room and teacher. You see all the dates before they go into the calendar, and a lesson that falls on a holiday waits for your approval.

I canceled one lesson. Does that change the whole series?

No. You can change one lesson, or everything from here on. Lessons that already happened, with their attendance and payment, stay as they were.

I teach both privately and in groups. Is it the same calendar?

The very same calendar. Private lessons and classes appear side by side, in the same rooms and with the same teachers.

The person who pays isn't always the one who studies. How does that work?

An adult who studies and pays for themselves - it's all on their card. A parent who pays for two children gets the receipts in their name, and attendance and progress are recorded for each child separately. You can also set a payment cap.

People ask me how many lessons are left on the punch card.

For a student who bought a punch card, the card shows how many lessons are left and until when. You also see in which lesson a use was deducted, and canceling a wrong mark restores it to the balance.

I run a recording studio, not a school. Is this right for me?

Yes. A recording hour is booked as a single appointment in the calendar, with the time it takes. The customer gets a price quote and a receipt, and whoever buys a package of hours sees how much is left and until when.

I'm an independent teacher. Isn't this too big for me?

You start with whatever is most pressing - usually the series and receipts - and add the rest when it suits you. What you don't use doesn't get in the way.

Your words

A music teacher says lesson.
A recording studio says session.

A private teacher works with a student and a lesson, a theater group with a rehearsal and a hall, and a studio with an engineer and a recording hour. You choose the words that fit your work, even if your field isn't listed by name.
